Our commitment

Accessibility

Last reviewed October 3, 2026

Akari Collective wants everyone to be able to use this site, whatever technology they use and whatever their abilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2at Level AA.

What we have done

  • Every page has a logical heading structure and landmark regions, and a "skip to main content" link.
  • All text meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background.
  • Everything can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and the current focus is always visible.
  • Interactive targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
  • Text can be resized to 200% and the layout reflows to a 320-pixel-wide viewport without horizontal scrolling.
  • Animation respects your operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
  • Links that open another website say so for screen reader users.
  • The site uses no cookies, trackers, or third-party embeds. The careers board's filters work without JavaScript, and the small script that makes them instant adds no barriers.
  • Automated accessibility checks run on every change before it is published.

Known limitations

The websites and social media accounts of our individual brands are maintained separately, and third-party platforms such as Instagram are outside our control. We are working to bring each of our own sites to the same standard.
